What's happening in the SCTA world:
The SCTA sponsored 33 USTA Adult League teams in 2025, made possible by the 32 players who stepped up to serve as captains/co-captains. We currently have 3 Mixed 18+ and 5 Adult 40+ teams registered to start play in January 2026. USTA 2025 EOY ratings are expected on December 2, 2025. Player registration will open on December 3, 2025.

Some history:
SCTA Adult Membership, on August 18, 2024, approved a bylaws revision that changed the SCTA from a membership to a non-membership organization, integrated the Pickleball Amendment into the bylaws text, and gave the Pickleball Division a seat on the SCTA Board of Directors.
